Prior to discovering DealerMind, I had spent a lot of time looking at software and talking with fellow dealers about their systems. Long story short, I initially decided to go with the "big boys". During my stay at their training facility, I happened to call a friend of mine in San Diego who runs a huge powersports related business. We talked a bit about my training in this software and how I felt that while it was good, it just didn't do many of the things I really wanted it to do. He said to me, "Before you fully commit to that system, call this guy Michael in Massachusetts. His business is the same as yours and he had the very same concerns while researching dealer management systems. Not finding a solution, he decided to develop one himself." So, I called him. Half-way through the conversation I realized that here was a guy who ran a business very similar to mine and experienced many of the same problems but took a proactive role by developing a management system, in-house, that truly eliminated so many frustrations and automated important tasks missed by other systems. I interrupted his enthusiastic story about the development of the software with Michael, I've been looking for something like this for years! That being said, I packed my bags, flew back to Ohio and got hooked up with DealerMind. I'm glad I did.
